Produce Stall
Following the success of the Colden Common Food & produce
market a stall is open every Tuesday Morning for the
sale of plants,
preserves, cheese and other sundry food related items .
If you wish to
sell items we will do this for a 10% fee on a sale or
return basis.

Basic Computer Skills
The 2010 course is now full. We are now taking bookings
for 2011
This 12-week course will help you to:
Start and shut down a computer safely: Use a keyboard
and a mouse
to input information: Work with text I numbers and
images
Search the Internet: Send and receive emails

Skills Course running on Friday afternoons, in the Bert
Stratton Lounge, from 1.30-3.30pm:-

COLDEN COMMON COMMUNITY CAFE
Is open every Saturday morning, from 9.30 to 1.30
serving hot and cold drinks, and light snacks.
Available to buy - Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, cold
drinks,
biscuits, bacon sarnies, cheese toasties, toasted tea
cakes,
soup and roll, ice-cream
Children and well behaved dogs welcome

| This year our local
microbrewery, Hensting Farm is brewing two new
beers to add to last years, again brewed
especially for us. Another very local brewery,
Upham, is also sending two new beers. We are
trying Flack Manors Double drop, brewed by an
old method and trying Irving’s Capt B festival
beer.. Last year we had almost as many ladies as
gentlemen, they were all enjoying the beer. We
somehow seem to have attracted a new market; we
provide barbecued food all through the festival.
The band in the evening is Kansas Country Our
beer fest is on September 18th, 2pm to 11.30pm
and the special family day is on Sunday 19th,
from 2pm to 5pm. Camra members get a £1 discount
on the £8 ticket, which includes a limited
edition glass and the first ½ pint. Entry on the
Sunday is £3.00 with a £2 discount if the glass
from the night before is produced. |
Entrance £8 – includes glass & first drink.
Afternoon ticket will cover evening entrance as well
Camra members producing membership proof £1 discount
Family & Community Afternoon

Positive Training for Canines is a
friendly training school that only uses kind, effective
methods to help teach your dog relevant commands for
every day life.
We train at Colden Common Community Centre every Tuesday
evening!
Our classes are suitable for:
Puppies – from 10 – 20 weeks of age (once they have
received their Second Vaccination)
Adult dogs to further their training
And rescue dogs
We run small classes so personal attention can be given
to each owner and dog. Our classes are relaxed and non
competitive.
All our classes run for 8 consecutive weeks and spaces
are limited so contact us to guarantee your place.
